We recommend storing nuts and seeds in the freezer to keep them fresh. Make sure they are securely tied. Our bags are a thick freezer grade plastic.

Dried fruit will keep fine in the refrigerator.

Nuts stay good in the freezer for about a year or so. However, many people keep them longer. They may not be quite as fresh, but if they taste good, they are fine to eat!

We get nuts and fruit from all over the world. A lot of things are from California: almonds, walnuts, pistachios, as well as pears, peaches, nectarines, raisins, apricots and tomatoes. Cashews are from India; blanched hazelnuts and Turkish apricots are from Turkey. We have dates from California and dates from Israel. We get pecans from Georgia and Texas. Our peanuts are from Texas as well.

Sulfur dioxide is a gas used to preserve the color of dried fruit, so they don’t turn brown. We don’t put it on, it is done when the fruit is dried.

Yes, we sell to restaurants, bakeries, caterers and hotels. If an individual would like to purchase a full case, we will sell it to you at the case (wholesale) price as well! Please contact us for information.
